One of my crazies came home with a project that they were working on for Mother's Day that was top secret....except they can't keep a secret to save their life. I got a kick out of it so I am quoting from their answers and then giving the real story...because on some of these they were DEAD wrong!!!
What is your mom's first and middle name?
Their Answer: Heather I don't know
The Real Answer: My middle name is Ryann after a character on "Ryann's Hope". I hated the name growing up because it's a "boy name" but it's grown on me.
Where did your mom grow up?
Their answer: Illunoy
The Real Answer: Yes, I did grow up in Illinois (love the spelling though). I lived in Georgia for a time too but I was older then.
How old is your mom?
Their answer: 29
The Real Answer: Ummmm yep. They've been trained well. Let's just say I have some experience being 29.
What is your mom's favorite movie?
Their answer: I think it might be Frozen
The Real Answer: Though I do enjoy a good Disney flick, I have a few favorites...Meet Joe Black, Diary of a Mad Black Woman, and House of 1000 Corpses. Talk about variety, huh? Close runners up are "Knocked Up" and "This is the End" as well as "Dirty Dancing" and "Center Stage"
Who is your mom's favorite actor or actress?
Their answer: John Cena is the boy and Mela Coonis is the girl
The Real Answer: I am a John Cena fan because I'm a "big arms" girl and he has great arms and great eyes and yes he was PHENOMENAL in "The Marine" but he's not my favorite actor. I LOVE James Franco and Seth Rogen but my favorite is probably somebody like Robin Williams. Yes, Mila Kunis (again with the spelling) is my girl crush and one of my favorite actresses but my very favorite is probably inclined to be Sandra Bullock or Julia Roberts.
What does your mom watch on TV?
Their answer: Sports Center and Big Bang Theory
The Real Answer: This is pretty on-par. When I'm at work and have the ability (as we don't have cable), I do watch Sports Center...and anything else on ESPN or Altitude. The only other show I'm really into is Big Bang Theory.
What is your mom's favorite food?
Their answer: Mellow Mushroom pizza
The Real Answer: YES! YES! YES! Mellow Mushroom pizza is definitely my favorite. There is a small restaurant in Illinois in a little town called Braidwood that is called "Polk-A-Dot" that has my favorite cheese fries and pizza puff (greasy and terrible for you but so very very good!) Other than that, I love a good salad but only like ranch dressing. I am not a dessert or pastry person (though I love to bake) but I am a sucker for a big bowl of ice cream.
What is your mom's favorite drink?
Their answer: Cherry Pepsi
The Real Answer: Dangerous question. I do indulge in cherry pepsi/cherry coke once a day on average but I also drink a lot of water. I am known to enjoy a (as in one..maybe two tops) good Coors Light or Budweiser Platinum though, especially when it's hot outside.
What is your mom's favorite thing to do?
Their answer: Watch sports and talk about sports or maybe take pictures
The Real Answer: Pretty on Target. I will debate sports with the best of them and have put grown men to shame, especially when they belittle me. Photography is my passion though. Sports photography is orgasmic (for lack of better word).
What does your mom hate more than anything?
Their answer: Clowns
The Real Answer: Guilty. Clowns *shudders*

7. She has green eyes.
8. She likes Almond Joy creamer but she doesn't like the candy
9. She loves her Grandma so much.
10. She can grab things with her toes like a monkey.
The Real Answer: (Oh geez, where do I begin....once I stop laughing)
1. True. No doubt. Period. The end.
2. Yes, I am a good dancer. I was in a competitive dance troupe from a really young age. We danced at pro sports events, Disney World, etc. I also taught dance for years. I enjoy teaching little ones more than teenagers but taught teens hip hop more than anything. I still love to watch it and would love to take classes but single mama income prevents that. LOL
3. Yes, I was also a tumbler/gymnast. (Gymnasticer...Hahahahaha) It always came really naturally to me. I was not as into gymnastics as dance but I taught gymnastics for quite awhile too. I can't do the competitive thing here mostly because I can't stand coaches shouting at their gymnasts (I know it's "essential" but it kills me). Recreational..yes. Gymnastics helped me in cheer.
4. Yep, I do yoga. I have done yoga for a LONNNNNG time. Flexible is relative I suppose but compared to a lot of people my age, I am WAYYY flexible. I enjoy not feeling so achy from doing it.
5. Guilty. I go some mornings without coffee but most of the time, I don't function well without it. I need the caffeine. I don't like Starbucks because the prices are outrageous. It's not that I don't like the coffee. I looove Dunkin Donuts though, especially coconut coffee with cream and sugar. Yum!
6. This is relative. I definitely am intelligent. I also try to educate myself continually so I read a lot of non fiction and watch a lot of documentaries. In fact, there are very few fiction series or even fiction books that I enjoy (Twilight is an exception...Hunger Games series....a few Nicholas Sparks books though they're mostly the same). Am I "really really" smart? I suppose that's relative to who you're comparing me to.
7. Yes, I do. I get the "no they're blue" all the time. Nope, they're green. They look more blue with some things that I wear but they're green.
8. I do love Almond Joy creamer but, to be fair, I'm not much of a candy person. I crave it occasionally but I'm not a candy person...except Purple Laffy Taffy, Reese's Pieces, or chewy sweet tarts.
9. It's true. My grandmother is my absolute end all be all of fabulous people. She is so knowledgeable but she's incredibly kind, loving and so smart. I talk to her every single week for at least an hour.
10. This one had me cracking up. Yes, yes I do grab things with my toes. My toes are long which is probably why I am so weird about keeping them painted...at least make my monkey toes look less monkey-ish. With that being said, they're mine. I love them exactly how they are and, quite frankly, they come in handy when my hands are full. LOL
